Before leaving an animal in our pen, you must contact Sherry Browne (843) 887-3818, and please leave food and water. Please be advised that animals left in the McClellanville pen will be turned over to Charleston County Animal Control and because of overpopulation they will be euthanized within a day or two of when they are received.

Please try to contact one of the organizations that will try for an adoption.

According to the American Humane Association, an estimated 9.6 million animals are euthanized in the United States every year.
