South Tibwin course follows a wooded trail system on the Francis Marion National Forest. The three mile course is marked at 1/2 mile intervals, and begins and ends at the parking area. The course is marked
with small green signs mounted on trees. Directional arrows guide you along the double-loop course.
The trail traverses pine woods, freshwater ponds, and brackish marshes. A variety of wildlife may be encountered along the way. Insect spray is recommended during the warm months.
